Collin Walke

"My goal as a mediator is to help individuals, families, and businesses resolve disputes in the most efficient, cost-effective way possible."

    Collin is a trained mediator and attorney with the firm Rubenstein & Pitts, P.L.L.C.  Collin's legal career has focused on business litigation and transactions, as well as family law and appeals. During his career, Collin has established himself as an accomplished legal author and effective advocate for his clients, having successfully obtained favorable verdicts for his clients, as well as favorable settlements.  

 

    Collin graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma City University School of Law.   Since then, Collin has had the privilege of working on cases ranging from death penalty appeals to divorce actions.  He is the author of many legal publications, including, "Americans with Disabilities Act Basics: What Attorneys Need to Know about the ADA and Representing the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing," "Four Rules for the Record in Family Law Cases," and "Paragraphs and Indentation: Formatting for Persuasive Writing."  Collin was the  2015 recipient of the Maurice Merrill Golden Quill Award for best Bar Journal publication.

    Collin is also a graduate of the Oklahoma Bar Association Leadership Academy, recipient of the Chair's Award for the Oklahoma Bar Association Young Lawyer's Division, Outstanding Committee Chair Award for the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court, Outstanding Barrister Award for the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court, Outstanding Associate for the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Inn of Court, and the Community Service Award for the Oklahoma County Bar Association.  Collin is also a graduate of the Western Trial Advocacy Institute.  Additionally, Collin has served on the Board of Directors for City Rescue Mission since 2008.
